Advance Care Planning Week Virtual Forum

Health professionals in Queensland are invited to join the Statewide Office of Advance Care Planning for the 2024 Advance Care Planning Week (ACP) Virtual Forum.

This is an excellent opportunity to hear first-hand from expert speakers sharing ACP updates and initiatives to assist you in improving your ACP knowledge and practice.

The 2024 ACP Week Virtual Forum will be held from Monday 18 March to Thursday 21 March. All sessions will be streamed via Microsoft Teams. Registration is free.

Monday 18 March, 2024 - Keynote Address

12:00pm - 1:00pm. Supporting decision-making and advance care planning for diverse older adults in the community - Dr Craig Sinclair.

Dr Sinclair is a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Psychology, based at the University of New South Wales. His key research interests include older adult decision-making, advance care planning and supported decision-making. He currently leads a multi-centre randomised controlled trial of the EARLI program, a combined life story work and advance care planning intervention among older adults receiving community-based aged care services in New South Wales and Western Australia. Dr Sinclair is also a member of the Advance Care Planning Australia Steering Committee.
