Progress has been made in acknowledging and changing past prejudices based on race, religion, gender, and sexual preference. There’s further progress to be made, of course, but the shift in attitude in recent decades has been almost seismic. But there is one ‘-ism’ that has perhaps flown under the radar during this period – ageism.
