Karen Williams, the Principal Solicitor with ADA Law, is conducting a research project into the experiences of people over 75 accessing aged care from hospital. It's part of her PhD studies at the University of New England’s School of Law.

Part of Karen’s research aims to understand supported decision-making approaches in healthcare and to identify tools and information older people would find useful when choosing aged care arrangements.

This work will add to resources already developed by ADA Law to support decision making such as the Supported Decision-Making Guide.

A 40-minute interview would be conducted by phone or online, and of course would be confidential.

If you, or someone you know or care for, are interested in receiving more information about participating, contact Karen on kwill207@myune.edu.au.
