The Retirement Village Residents Association (RVRA) represents and supports older people living in retirement villages across NSW to understand their rights and obligations and participate in the decision-making processes that affect them.

Residents Committees are an important part of retirement living. They can make or break the harmony within the village, and they can be the difference between a good relationship with the operator or a bad one.

The RVRA has developed a Residents Committee workshop under the auspices of Fair Trading. As part of the RVRA Education Centre initiative the workshop will be available to all Residents Committees in NSW. Operators can also express an interest in running sessions in their suite of villages.
