Nominations for the 2022 Human Rights Awards are open now

Nominations for the Commission’s annual Human Rights Awards are open until Sunday 4th September.

The Human Rights Awards celebrate outstanding achievements of individuals, communities and organisations to advance human rights in Australia.

Help us to recognise human rights champions across the country by submitting a nomination.

The categories for this year’s awards are:

• Human Rights Medal

• Young People’s Human Rights Medal

• Community Award

• Law Award

Winners will be announced at a function in Sydney on Friday December 9, and also live-streamed for those who can't make it.
