Anna Neilan from Neilan Stramandinoli Family Law spoke to ABC Radio Canberra Mornings with Georgia Stynes about what coercive control laws might look like, and how the law currently deals with family violence and coercive control.

The proposed bill would bring the ACT into line with Tasmania (since 2004), NSW (from July 2024) and Queensland (from 2025).

The Australian Federal Police Association supports the introduction of coercive control legislation in the ACT.
