Findings from the Evaluation of the National Plan to Respond to the Abuse of Older Australians (Elder Abuse) 2019–2023

This research snapshot sets out key findings of an evaluation of Australia’s first National Plan to Respond to the Abuse of Older Australians (Elder Abuse) 2019–2023 (the National Plan).

The National Plan was established jointly by Commonwealth, state, and territory governments, and identifies key priority actions for preventing and responding to the abuse of older people in Australia.

The evaluation was commissioned and funded by the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department.
