Country Women's Association QLD

We are an active community of women who, together, improve the lives of people living in regional, rural, and remote Queensland.

We're renowned for our great home cooks and crafts - members are fond of this reputation and the public is welcome to join our competitions in cookery, floral art, photography, and knitting and crocheting.

But the QCWA is so much more than that. It’s about friendship, community, and connection. We also prepare, deliver, and serve food and drinks to frontline responders such as volunteer fire fighters and other emergency service people during a natural disaster.

As a state-wide Association we provide practical and financial support through our Public Rural Crisis Fund.

Our advocacy is indispensable and starts at branch level with issues raised forming the basis of where the QCWA lobbies governments for improvements and change.
