Institute for Urban Indigenous Health

The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) is a Community Controlled Health Service (CCHS) that delivers health, family wellbeing, and social support services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population of South East Queensland.

The IUIH System of Care addresses the complexity and fragmented nature of the health system by integrating a range of co-located health and social support services.

Through a ’no wrong door approach’, entry to any part of the IUIH System of Care opens up access to the full range of services and programs available.

IUIH’s network of clinics across South East Queensland provides a comprehensive range of multidisciplinary primary healthcare and family wellbeing services.

These services include:

  • access to GPs, Nurses, and Health Workers who will facilitate a comprehensive health check

  • aged care and home support

  • disability support
