National Farmers Federation

The National Farmers Federation (NFF) is the peak national body representing farmers and agriculture across Australia. It is one of Australia’s foremost and respected advocacy organisations.

Over decades the NFF has earned a reputation as a leader in the identification, development, and achievement of policy outcomes – championing issues affecting farmers and dedicated to the advancement of agriculture.

Formed in 1979 as the single national voice for Australian farmers, the NFF brought together the many disparate organisations of the day.

The NFF has been at the forefront of the nation’s high-profile debates, driving reforms that today underpin our uniquely Australian identity and sense of a ‘fair go’.
