At Relationships Australia Queensland (RAQ), we believe healthy, respectful relationships are essential for the wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities.

Our Senior Relationship Services (SRS) offer free support to connect, protect, and empower older folks across Queensland.

The SRS includes:

Elder Abuse Prevention and Support Service
The Elder Abuse Prevention and Support Service is a free case management service providing individualised support and referrals to those experiencing elder abuse.

Locations: Maroochydore, Robina, Mackay, Bundaberg, Gladstone, Rockhampton

Senior Financial Protection Service
The Senior Financial Protection Service assists older people to make informed financial decisions later in life. This service also supports those who are experiencing elder financial abuse.

Locations: Maroochydore, Robina, Mackay, Bundaberg, Gladstone, Rockhampton

Senior Relationship Mediation Service
The Senior Relationship Mediation Service combines family mediation, family therapy, and individual support, while acknowledging the interests, rights, and safety of the older person.

Locations: Morayfield, Strathpine

Senior Social Connection Program
The Senior Social Connection Program connects older folks in Southeast Queensland through social catch ups and educational workshops on ageing, technology, and digital inclusion.

Locations: Sunshine Coast, Gympie

RAQ supports those who otherwise face barriers, including individuals who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, LGBTQIA+, and culturally and linguistically diverse, as well as those experiencing mental ill health, violence or abuse, addiction, and living in rural or remote areas.
